Why this work exists
I never planned to work this way.
I became interested in a different question.
Why do intelligent decisions repeatedly create consequences nobody anticipated?
The decision itself was rarely the problem.
The picture on which it was based usually was.
Over time, my attention shifted away from evaluating decisions…
…towards examining the reality from which they emerged.
Everything I do today grew out of that shift.

Most people become interested once a decision has been made.
My attention moves much earlier.
Towards the assumptions people no longer question.
Towards relationships that quietly influence judgement.

My perspective is not the result of seeing more.
It is the result of directing my attention towards parts of reality
